No one can escape from the lustful spell of a delicious burger. But the thought of gaining those extra calories on your waistline makes you put down your treat. This Sunday we present to you a healthy version of your favourite chicken burger, with a taste that will make your taste buds happy and will also put down those extra calories. Cooking Time: 45-50 Minutes
Calories: Approx. 400/Serving
1 Whole Wheat Burger Bun
3 Chicken Thighs
1 TBSP Chopped Garlic
1 TBSP Basil
1/2 Tsp Chilly Flakes
1 TBSP Olive Oil
1 TBSP Cooking Oil (To grease the cooking pan)
Salt to taste
1 TBSP Butter
For Burger Spread:
1 Cup Yogurt
1 Tbsp Mixed Herbs
1 Tbsp Chilly Powder
Take 3 Chicken Thighs and thaw them. Marinate the chicken with 1 Tbsp Chopped Garlic, 1 Tbsp Basil, 1/2 Tsp Chilly Flakes. Mix them together and add salt for taste. Add 1 Tbsp Olive Oil. Add Chicken thighs and marinate for 30 minutes. Grease the cooking pan with 1 TBSP Oil. Add the marinated chicken on the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes.
To make the healthy burger spread:
Use 1 Cup Yogurt, 1 TBSP Chilly Powder, 1 TBSP Mixed Herbs. Mix Well. Add chopped cabbage and chopped carrots.
Take 1 Whole Wheat Bun, cut it in two halves and spread some butter on the bun. Add Chicken, Tomatoes, lettuce and the burger spread. Add Jalepenos and top the burger with top the top bun.
Healthy Chicken Burger ready to be devoured.
